An Apple a Day...
Mental health is just as important as physical health. In fact, the two are intricately linked. If one if 'off,' the other generally follows. You can exercise regularly, eat right, and take medications as prescribed to stay healthy, but if you're still not feeling up to par, it's probably time to mind your mind!
Achieving total body wellness starts with the right mindset. In just a few sessions with a licensed therapist, you'll likely start to see some significant benefits...and will probably wonder why you hadn't considered therapy before! Now is the time to start feeling your best. Looking forward to meeting with you soon!

What you really need to know.
I believe the best therapists are those who can relate to their clients...not because they understand their struggles in the context of what they read in a textbook, but because they've actually been there. Clinical knowledge is necessary but personal experience is invaluable. I have a passion for what I do because I've been through the good, the bad, and the ugly. I've struggled. I've endured toxic relationships and circumstances, and I've harbored pain and resentment for what I felt was unfair. I'm far from perfect, and I've made poor decisions in trying to "heal." But ultimately, I made a choice to use these difficulties as an opportunity for growth. And the key word here is "choice." It is through life's most challenging moments that we have a chance to build resiliency. We can get back up after we fall. But we must actively make this choice...even though it's certainly easier said than done.
I hear you. I see you. And I'm here for you. You don't have to stay stuck. Make a choice to take a chance so you, too, can experience sustainable healing and change your life today.
My Practice
I believe in person-centered care. No two stories are alike and you know you best! Oftentimes, patterns of behavior begin very early on in life and are influenced by our relationships with others. Let's unravel those patterns together that are keeping you stuck and discover the core conflict that needs to be resolved. This will help us determine how to best move forward.
